  1. 10 years ago designers demanded a "seat at the table" and got it by showing how design contributes to conversions. At this point designers abandoned their human-centric roots and became numbers-centric. Today many of us are waking up to this wrong turn, trying to make amends.

      So rather than explaining to leadership how UX contributes to the bottom line, we need to demand from leadership that they explain how the bottom line contributes to UX.
