    1. One of my oldest friends doesn't have a private email account. He still maintains and uses his massive CD collection. He just emailed me from his girlfriend's account because "long time" and he wants me to attend the 🏍 fair with him. It's the first email I ever got from him. ❤️

    This has nothing to do with conscious avoidance, security or "taking a stand". Just complete disinterest. And I love him for it. It's very grounding.

      He will call me at least thrice a year to check in, make plans or wish happy birthday. I'm frustratingly bad at doing any of these types of things and staying in touch but it's like he's a constant in my life that I could not muster losing.
