Different perspectives 1) Platforms assume what people want to see based on experiments invisible to the people being experimented on. 2) Platforms tell people what assumptions they are making. 3) Platforms ask people to contribute consciously to decisions about what they see.

4) People are in actual control over what they see. 5) People control what they see and do so with their own wellbeing in mind. 6) People control what they share and do so with others’ wellbeing in mind. 7) People can choose one platform and communicate at will with another.
