My walkthrough of what Apple's recently announced child safety features truly mean, and their potential negative impact. There is significant cause for worry with these steps into mass surveillance. Lots of links and references to people smarter than me. axbom.com/apple-child-safety-harms/

The huge pushback from the privacy community has delayed Apple’s rollout. This is not yet a win but an indication of how important it is to keep fighting against notions like this. It moves the needle. techcrunch.com/2021/09/03/apple-csam-detection-delayed/
