    1. I attended an event on Digital Ethics today and lasted five minutes. 5 mins into the event we were told we would be randomly paired with a stranger and encouraged to have a 1-1 conversation for five minutes. No way to avoid, because the tech would just “spin and select”. I left.

    An activity like that works for some people. Certainly not everyone. Doing it at the top of the agenda in a digital room of 50 unknowns was not respectful to participants. If I just wanted to listen in on the event was no way for me. Left me ill at ease.
