    JaredFossey From what I understand, defenestration implies that the window breaks. Fenestration would be putting the window in. It works in context: In 1452, King James II of Scotland murdered William Douglas, 8th Earl of Douglas, with his own hands and defenestrated him at Stirling Castle.
