      Jessikayyy If I listen to podcasts through e.g. OvercastFM, what data can the podcast provider see about me besides IP address (location) and the fact that I initated a download?     Jessikayyy OvercastFM But this is unfortunately the reason people are scrambling to be available on Spotify and in some cases are going exclusive there. Spotify is providing data that podcasters have never had access to before.

      Jessikayyy OvercastFM My hope was that Spotify would continue to be one of many channels I could choose from as a listener to download shows (as it is with our podcast), but we are seeing market grabs now where podcasts are becoming exclusive to platforms, just like tv-series and movies.
