"I was wondering if I could share the following article with my audience on LinkedIn?" 2 wks later: "Hi again! I just wanted to follow-up about sharing your article with my digital marketing audience on LinkedIn... Do you mind if I go ahead and do that? 😊" My brain hurts.

These e-mails are especially revealing spam messages, as they aren't actually referencing an article, but a podcast episode. The person sending has no clue as to what they are offering to share. (The idea is to build rapport and then encourage us to add a link to them.)
