Today everyone in England becomes an organ donor by law. Essentially they move to an “opt-out” system wherein everyone is considered an organ donor when they die unless they have recorded a decision not to donate, or are in an excluded group. organdonation.nhs.uk/uk-laws/organ-donation-law-in-england/ #organdonor

Just please don’t call this ’nudge policy’. It’s not nudging, it’s using laws and regulation to promote positive impact. People still have a choice but this particular choice was made for them, not by them. Their behavior didn’t change, but the outcome likely changes.
