      1. I think it’s important to remember that Zuckerberg is showing up and responding according to his belief system, but also to questions that don’t have yes/no answers. The format of hearings give little time for problematization of complex issues, but he’s there and trying. 1/3

      There are many ways he could respond in these hearings that would be worse, and there are many ways in which the members of congress set him up to look bad because the questions don’t allow longer explanations. 2/3

    I’m not a fan of Facebook, but I feel the sound bites making the rounds in social media contribute to polarisation based on too little information and obvious knowledge gaps. We need to work on the knowledge gaps, and our own confirmation bias. 3/3
