    gustavgatu Yeah, I'm not surprised at all. The surprise is Twitter proactively admitting it. With regards to phone numbers I believe many are missing the severity of it, since so many happily share their address books with any and all services- of course sharing my data in the process... 😠

      gustavgatu The phone number is the key that can unlock and create relationships between data sets that previously seemed completely unrelated.

        gustavgatu Hence it's not about the privacy value of the phone number but the connections between much more private data that it enables.
