    Lazer It's not straightforward as it's a federation. But if you have one Mastodon account you can follow everyone on all instances everywhere. But searching for users is a hassle. As is choosing your own home instance. But mastodon.social is the big one.

      Lazer Of course I can never settle with default (I have issues) so I set up my own instance using masto.host

        Lazer Trying to convince myself that the friction is good and that part will get better. Once you're in and following people it seems very similar to Twitter.
