With great power comes the ability to harm a lot of people. Perhaps better than "with great power comes great responsibility" is "with great power comes the great obligation to share that power ". Spider-Man couldn't share his powers, but many humans with power can.

"With great power comes great responsibility." implies two things: 1) the people with the power deserve it 2) the people with the power are the best judges of what is responsible

Given how often these two premises fail to live up to scrutiny I propose that the best use of power is to share it with people in power deficit. My assertion being that people in control of their own well-being will be better at decisions that are in their own best interest.
